Who we are

Mowdew is operated by Vuedooh Technologies LLP ("Mowdew", "we", "us", "our"). Mowdew is a two-sided platform for recurring home services: a business (a garden or pool service and its field pros) runs its book and records every visit, and the homeowner sees the verified record of work on their own property.

Accepting these terms

By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using Mowdew on the web, iOS, or Android, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you're using Mowdew on behalf of a business, you confirm you're authorized to bind that business to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use Mowdew.

What Mowdew is (and is not)

Mowdew helps a service business log visits (with per-visit check-in/out and before/after photos), build invoices from those verified visits, and share the same verified record with the homeowner. Geofencing is an assist for recording a visit — never a gate; a pro can always log a visit manually. Mowdew is a record-keeping and communication tool. We do not perform the home services ourselves, employ the pros, or set the prices a business charges its customers — those are agreements between the business and its customers.

Each business on Mowdew is an independent business. Mowdew is not a party to, and is not responsible for, the service relationship between a business and its customers: we don't vet, endorse, guarantee, supervise, or insure any business, pro, or homeowner; nothing in the service creates an employment, agency, partnership, or joint-venture relationship between Mowdew and any user. The quality, safety, legality, scheduling, and completion of the services — and any estimate, quote, or promise a business makes — are solely between the business and the homeowner. A visit record or photo in Mowdew documents what was reported; it is not our certification that work was performed or performed correctly.

Accounts & eligibility

• You must provide accurate account information and keep your login secure. You're responsible for activity under your account.
• You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to run a business account, and at least 13 to use Mowdew at all. Mowdew isn't directed to children under 13.
• A single person can hold more than one role — for example a solo operator is both the owner and the pro, and an owner can also be a homeowner on another property.

Subscriptions & billing

The Mowdew subscription is billed to the business. Field pros are free seats, and homeowners are free forever. The subscription is a digital subscription offered in three home-count tiers:

• Starter — up to 10 homes — $19.99/month or $199.99/year.
• Growth — up to 50 homes — $34.99/month or $349.99/year.
• Scale — up to 150 homes — $49.99/month or $499.99/year.

Some plans include a free trial; unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. The price you pay is the price shown at purchase in the app; prices may change with notice for future billing periods.

Where you subscribe

In the iOS and Android apps, the subscription is purchased through Apple's App Store or Google Play and billed to your store account. Payment is charged to that account at confirmation of purchase. You manage or cancel an app-store subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings — uninstalling the app alone does not cancel it. Where Mowdew offers a web subscription, it is billed through our web payment processor and managed in your Mowdew account. The subscription belongs to the business and unlocks the business across its devices.

Refunds

Subscriptions purchased through the App Store or Google Play are subject to those stores' refund policies and are handled by Apple or Google. For web subscriptions, contact us at hello@mowdew.com.

Payments between a homeowner and a business

When a homeowner pays an invoice, Mowdew does not process or hold the money and never touches your bank balance. Paying an invoice opens the business's own Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle with the amount and handle pre-filled — the payment happens entirely in that app, directly between the homeowner and the business. Mowdew is not a party to that payment, not a payment processor, and not a money transmitter. Any dispute about a service payment, a refund, or the quality of work is between the business and the homeowner.

Homeowners are free, forever

The homeowner side of Mowdew — the verified-visit feed, photo gallery, invoice inbox, searchable ledger, and the button to request extra work — is free to homeowners. We don't charge homeowners to see the record of work done on their own property.

Text messages (SMS)

Mowdew sends a small number of service-related text messages, only to people who engaged with the platform or with a business that uses it. The program covers three kinds of messages: (1) a one-time login or verification code when you enter your phone number in the app, (2) an invite link to view the service history of your own property after your service provider adds you, and (3) a recap or confirmation after you call a business whose phone is answered through Mowdew. We do not send marketing blasts, and we never use purchased or rented contact lists.

• Message frequency varies by your activity — typically a handful of messages per month at most.
• Message and data rates may apply, as charged by your mobile carrier.
• Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages from that number. Reply HELP for help, or contact hello@mowdew.com.
• Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any good or service.
• Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Calls answered by an AI assistant (where available)

Some businesses on Mowdew use Front Desk, an AI assistant that answers calls to the business's number on the business's behalf — for example when the owner is mid-job and would otherwise miss the call. Where this feature is active:

• The assistant identifies itself as an AI at the start of the call, and where calls are recorded or transcribed, it says so in the greeting. If you don't want to speak with an AI or be recorded, you can say so, hang up, or ask for a callback.
• Anything the assistant offers — a proposed visit window, an estimate window, a callback — is a request passed to the business, not a binding commitment, until the business confirms it. The business remains solely responsible for its schedule, prices, and services.
• AI-generated conversation, summaries, and transcripts may contain errors. The business reviews call outcomes before acting on them.
• Never use Mowdew or a business's Mowdew-answered phone line for emergencies. The assistant cannot dispatch help. If you have an emergency — a gas smell, a chemical exposure, a flood, a downed line, anyone in danger — hang up and call 911 (or your local emergency number) immediately.

Acceptable use

When using Mowdew you agree not to:

• Break the law, infringe someone's rights, or use Mowdew to harass, deceive, or harm others.
• Upload content you don't have the right to share, or photos of a property without the right to capture them.
• Attempt to access another business's or homeowner's data, probe our security, or bypass the boundaries enforced in the product.
• Interfere with, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service except as the law expressly permits.
• Misrepresent visits, falsify records, or use Mowdew to defraud a customer.
• Use Mowdew's messaging or calling features to send spam, marketing to people who haven't consented, or any unlawful communication — a business is responsible for having the right to contact the numbers it adds.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you put into Mowdew — your customers, properties, visit records, notes, and photos. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate the service for you (for example, showing a homeowner the visits and photos for their property). Photos shown to a homeowner are stripped of EXIF/GPS metadata on upload, as described in our Privacy Policy. You're responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content you upload.

Service availability

We work to keep Mowdew available and reliable, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, change, or discontinue features, and we may require you to update to the latest version of the app to keep using it.

Disclaimers

Mowdew is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't warrant that the service will meet your requirements, that visit records or geofence assists will be perfectly accurate, or that the service will be available at any particular time. Mowdew is a record-keeping tool and is not a substitute for your own judgment about the work performed or the payments owed.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mowdew and Vuedooh Technologies LLP will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service. Because Mowdew does not process or hold payments, we are not responsible for any service payment between a homeowner and a business. We are likewise not responsible for the acts or omissions of any business, pro, or homeowner on the platform, or of third-party services you reach through Mowdew — payment apps (Venmo, PayPal, Zelle), app stores, mobile carriers, or telephony providers.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the subscription in the 12 months before the claim or, if you haven't paid us anything (homeowners and free seats), fifty US dollars ($50). These limits apply to every theory of liability and survive even if a limited remedy fails of its essential purpose. Some places don't allow certain limitations — where the law gives you rights that can't be waived, those rights are unaffected.

Indemnification

If you use Mowdew on behalf of a business, you agree to defend and hold harmless Mowdew and Vuedooh Technologies LLP from claims, damages, and reasonable legal costs arising out of: the services your business performs (or fails to perform) for its customers; the content, prices, invoices, and records your business puts into Mowdew; your business's own communications with its customers, including your compliance with call-recording, telemarketing, and consumer-protection laws that apply to you; or your breach of these terms. This doesn't apply to the extent a claim results from our own breach of these terms.

Termination & account deletion

You can stop using Mowdew at any time. You can delete your account and its data directly in the app (Settings → Delete account) or by emailing hello@mowdew.com. Cancelling a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play is done in your store account settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use Mowdew in a way that risks harm to others or to the service. When an account is deleted we remove or anonymize the associated personal data, except limited records we must keep for legal or tax reasons (see the Privacy Policy).

Disputes & governing law

Talk to us first. If you have a dispute with Mowdew, email hello@mowdew.com with a description of the issue and give us 30 days to try to resolve it informally before filing a claim — most issues get fixed faster this way. Disputes between a homeowner and a business about the services themselves are between those parties (see What Mowdew is).

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and any claim against us that can't be resolved informally is subject to the courts of competent jurisdiction in India. Two important protections survive this: nothing here limits any consumer-protection rights you have under the mandatory law of the place you live, and either side may bring an individual claim in small-claims court where you live if it qualifies there.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use Mowdew after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Everything else

• Entire agreement. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and Mowdew about the service, replacing any earlier understanding.
• Severability & waiver. If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Not enforcing a term isn't a waiver of it.
• Assignment. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of the business, with notice to you.
• Events beyond our control. Neither side is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control (outages of carriers or cloud providers, natural disasters, and the like) — though nothing excuses payment obligations already incurred.
• App-store terms. If you got the app from Apple's App Store or Google Play, their terms also apply to the download itself; Apple and Google aren't responsible for the service and have no obligation to provide support for it, and Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms solely for the iOS app.
